Awareness and Action are the Keys

Awareness of the crime of human trafficking is the first step to eradicating modern slavery.

Our organization is dedicated to bringing the issue of human trafficking to the forefront of public consciousness
through local community action and the sharing of resources and programs among communities and organizations.

We believe human trafficking can be prevented when people are aware of the crime and understand how traffickers lure people into modern-day slavery. We have developed the ARTREACH program to educate those who are particularly targeted in the United States -- young American girls between the ages of 11 and 15 as well as others who want to use art to educate others about human trafficking.

Are you interested in HTAP's new program
aimed at students and artists of all ages who want to use their artistic talent to fight and prevent
modern day slavery?

HTAP Read/Recommend/Act Campaign

We believe that the more available information about human trafficking is, the more likely it is that people will learn and take action.

This campaign was inspired by one of our board members who was unable to find any books about human trafficking while traveling on business. She said, "Human Trafficking is the second largest criminal business internationally and booksellers don't carry the great books that have been written about it. We need to do something to make these books available".
